According to the information released by the Labor Affairs Agency, this includes 1,985 employees from the home state Washington. A Microsoft spokesperson said in an email, “We will continue to implement the organizational changes necessary to put the company in the best position to succeed in the dynamic market.”
The company said that it is moving forward with its plan to implement AI in all its products. Under which it wants to empower employees to focus more on doing meaningful work by taking advantage of new technology and capabilities. Microsoft announced strong quarterly results for the January to March period two weeks ago. The company said that this was possible due to its good performance in cloud computing and artificial intelligence.
