TCS will keep a team of AI agents along with its human workforce, work is being done on these 4 plans
Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) Chairman N Chandrasekaran said that as IT services are moving towards autonomous operations, TCS’s target is to create a large group of AI agents working alongside humans. In a letter to shareholders in the TCS annual report, he said, “Gen AI is not just another technological cycle, it is a civilizational change. The path is clear: IT and business services are moving towards autonomous operations. The rise of autonomous robots and AI agents promises the future of ‘dark factory’ and AI-assisted enterprise functions.” TCS is working on these 4 plans
Chandrasekaran said that TCS is working on four plans – setting up a large group of AI agents working with our human workforce, providing solutions through human + AI models, investing in AI data centers and cloud infrastructure, as well as partnerships. He said that today most global businesses want to reduce costs. He further said, “This reimagination includes designing end-to-end traceability in supply chains, diversification of sourcing strategies to build resilience and region specific ecosystems to serve de-centralized markets.”
The company is ready to set new benchmarks
In FY 2025, TCS has crossed the big figures of $ 30 billion in revenue and $ 20 billion in brand value. TCS MD and CEO K Krithivasan said that the company will focus on exploring new technologies and business models and is ready to set new benchmarks in the IT service industry.
