Elon Musk launches XChat, video audio calling without number, will compete with WhatsApp!
Elon Musk has introduced a new messaging service XChat which is part of X’s digital ecosystem. Artificial intelligence has been integrated into the communication tools of this privacy-focused messaging platform XChat, which will compete with WhatsApp and other popular instant messaging platforms. Let’s know in detail about the features and specialties of XChat.
Features of XChat
Talking about the XChat feature, Elon Musk said that the new XChat feature will provide bitcoin-like encryption, disappearing messages and cross-platform audio and video calls. The move is aimed at providing more secure and powerful private messaging features within the platform. Musk said, “All new XChat encryption is starting with disappearing messages and the feature of sending any kind of file, along with audio/video calling.” He said the new messaging platform is built with a completely new encryption level found in bitcoin-based protocols without explaining how the encryption works.
Touted as a fully encrypted and decentralized messaging platform with AI features and X integration, XChat offers a number of features, including voice and video messaging, end-to-end encryption, crypto wallet, AI-based smart replies and synchronization, and interoperability with social media, payments, and media sharing.
Musk said XChat will also offer autonomous assistant features with the integration of the Grok AI chatbot, allowing users to book tickets, schedule meetings, and prepare documents without leaving the chat. Musk is planning to build a super app similar to China’s WeChat and XChat could prove to be an important step in this goal. With XChat, Musk can integrate Internet-based services such as messaging, social networking, ticket booking, banking and video conferencing between one or more users.
