NHSRCL awarded Rs 4100 crore contract to this group for bullet train project, know the details of the deal here
National High Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL) has awarded the contract to install modern signal and telecom systems for the Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train project to a group led by Dineshchandra R. Agarwal Infracon Private Limited. The value of this contract is around Rs 4100 crore. Let us tell you that apart from Dineshchandra R. Agarwal Infracon Private Limited, Siemens Limited and Siemens Mobility GmbH are also included in this group. National High Speed Rail Corporation Limited deals with financing, construction, maintenance and management of high speed rail projects in the country.
Siemens will provide maintenance services for 15 years
According to the press release of Siemens Limited, “Siemens Limited’s share in this contract worth around Rs 4100 crore is Rs 1230 crore. This contract is for the creation, installation and long-term maintenance of modern signal systems and telecom technology. The project is expected to be completed in 54 months. Siemens will provide maintenance services for 15 years for this.”

Mumbai-Ahmedabad Bullet Train Project
The Mumbai-Ahmedabad Bullet Train Project is the country’s first high speed rail project. The total length of the project being built in Maharashtra and Gujarat is 508 km. There will be a total of 12 stations in this project. These 12 stations include Sabarmati, Ahmedabad, Anand, Vadodara, Bharuch, Surat, Bilimora, Vapi, Boisar, Virar, Thane and Mumbai stations. The bullet train will run at a speed of 320 kmph on the Mumbai and Ahmedabad bullet train route, which will cover its entire journey in 2.07 hours.
