Jio launches AI Ready cloud computer ‘Jio-PC’
Good news for computer lovers, Reliance Jio has launched a new Jio-PC. It is a cloud based virtual desktop platform. Which can convert the TV screen in your home or office into a high end personal computer in a moment.
These customers who have JioFiber or Jio AirFiber connections will have to take a monthly plan to use Jio-PC. New users will be able to use this service for free for one month.
No lock-in period
This is the country’s first ‘pay-as-you-go model’ in cloud computing, that is, pay as much as you use. The company has not kept any lock-in period for this service. The customer also does not have to bear the cost of maintenance. There will be no need to upgrade any expensive hardware or software. Just plug in, sign up and start computing.
The company claims that the cloud based Jio-PC is very powerful. Its processing capability is also excellent and it can easily handle high-end tasks like gaming and graphic rendering along with everyday work.
A computer with capabilities like Jio-PC is available in the market for more than Rs 50 thousand. On the other hand, Jio-PC plans start from Rs 400 per month. By paying Rs 400 per month, the customer can save a lump sum amount of up to 50 thousand. With the subscription, users will also get all the major AI tools, applications and 512 GB cloud storage.
Jio-PC customers will be able to use ‘Adobe Express’, which is famous among users around the world, for free. ‘Adobe Express’ is actually a design and editing tool. For this, Jio-PC has joined hands with Adobe Company.

Jio-PC is also very easy to use. In most homes, the set-top box of Jio Fiber and Jio Air Fiber is connected to the TV. All you have to do is connect the wires of the keyboard and computer mouse directly to the Jio set-top box. Launch the Jio PC app on the main screen, login and Jio PC is ready.
