Ola Electric achieves major success, manufacturing 1 million electric two-wheelers
Ola Electric, one of the leading companies in the electric two-wheeler market, has achieved a significant manufacturing milestone. The company has manufactured 1 million electric two-wheelers. To mark the occasion, the company has launched a special edition of the Roadster X+ electric motorcycle.
Ola Electric began manufacturing electric two-wheelers nearly four years ago. The company’s portfolio includes the S1 electric scooter and the Roadster X electric motorcycle. An Ola Electric spokesperson said, “In just four years, we have grown from an idea to becoming a leader in the electric two-wheeler segment in India. We have proven that world-class products can be designed and manufactured in India. This achievement shows how far we have come.”
The special edition of the Roadster X+ is available in Midnight Blue color. This electric motorcycle features a dual-tone seat. Recently, the company launched a new electric scooter, the S1 Pro Sport. This is a sports-focused variant, starting at ₹149,999 (ex-showroom). The S1 Pro Sport is powered by a 13 kW Ferrit motor developed by Ola Electric. It features sport-tuned suspension and an Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS). This is the first time this technology has been used in an electric scooter in India. It features an aerodynamic design, a small windscreen, and daytime running lights for improved visibility. This electric scooter features a carbon fiber front fender and grab rail. It also comes with collision warning, adaptive cruise control, and speeding alert.
