Sigma Advanced Systems UK Ltd., a UK-based subsidiary of Megasoft, has completed a major deal. Sigma Advanced Systems has acquired UK-based precision engineering company Nasmyth Group Ltd. In a filing, the company stated that it has completed a ₹213 crore deal to acquire 100% of its shares.
The acquisition, expected to be completed within four weeks, will expand the company’s global platform in the aerospace and defense sector as part of its inorganic growth strategy.
Connection to India
Nasmyth Group has factories in the UK and India. The company specializes in complex precision engineering, advanced metal treatments, and special processes. It serves major OEM customers in the aerospace and defense sectors. The company’s revenue as of April 2025 was GBP 59.92 million, a growth consistent with previous years.
Megasoft shares closed at a 5% upper circuit on Monday and are projected to gain over 110% by 2025. The acquisition is considered a significant step in the company’s corporate expansion strategy.
