Anant Raj Limited will invest ₹4,500 crore in Andhra Pradesh, preparing to build a data center and IT park.

Anant Raj Limited has made a major announcement to strengthen Andhra Pradesh’s digital infrastructure. Through its subsidiary, Anant Raj Cloud Private Limited (ARCPL), the company will invest ₹4,500 crore in the state to build a new data center and integrated IT park. Recently, the Andhra Pradesh Economic Development Board (APEDB) and Anant Raj Limited signed an MoU in this regard.

Nara Lokesh, Minister of Information Technology, Electronics and Communications of Andhra Pradesh, was also present at the event. This partnership strengthens the state government’s vision of making Andhra Pradesh a leading hub for cloud and data services in the country.

Investment of ₹4,500 crore in two phases

According to the agreement, ARCPL will make this investment in two phases. Under this, advanced data center infrastructure and robust cloud services capacity will be developed. The state government will support APEDB to implement this project as quickly as possible. This project will also generate significant employment in Andhra Pradesh. It is expected to employ over 16,000 people.

Data Center Capacity Boost

The company is currently developing 307 MW of data center capacity. Currently, 28 MW of IT load is operational in Manesar and Panchkula. The company aims to reach 307 MW by FY2032, with a budget of $2.1 billion. Additionally, the company aims to expand its capacity to 117 MW in Manesar, Panchkula, and Rai by FY2028.

Strengthening its footprint with partnerships

In 2024, the company partnered with France’s Orange Business to expand its cloud services in India. This partnership will further strengthen the upcoming data center project in Andhra Pradesh.

The Company’s Strong Balance Sheet

Anant Raj Limited was incorporated in 1969. The company has completed 9.96 million square feet of residential and commercial projects to date. The company also owns 320 acres of debt-free land in Delhi-NCR. Financially, the company reported revenue of ₹1,223.20 crore and a profit of ₹264.08 crore in the first half of FY26.
