Company Seals ₹200 Crore Deal, Acquires 85% Stake in Arinna Lifesciences

Pharmaceutical company Rubicon Research Limited has taken a significant step to strengthen its foothold in the Indian market. The company has announced the acquisition of an 85% equity stake in Arinna Lifesciences Limited.

According to the company, Arinna’s enterprise value has been pegged at approximately ₹200 crore in this transaction. After accounting for net cash and other adjustments, the total purchase consideration for the 85% stake has been fixed at approximately ₹175.92 crore.

Entry into the CNS Segment

With this acquisition, Rubicon Research is now making its entry into the Indian CNS (Central Nervous System) therapeutics market. Arinna Lifesciences possesses a portfolio of over 60 brands and operates through a network of more than 4,000 doctors.

The company’s robust distribution network will assist Rubicon in delivering its specialty medicines to patients and doctors across India.

CEO’s Statement

Rubicon CEO Parag Sancheti stated that this acquisition constitutes a pivotal element of the company’s strategic roadmap. It will provide the company with an opportunity to expand within the Indian pharmaceutical market and to better leverage its R&D capabilities and product portfolio. Arinna Lifesciences reported a revenue of ₹56.7 crore and an EBITDA of ₹9.5 crore for the nine-month period ending December 2025.

Future Outlook

The deal is expected to be concluded within the next 30 days. Following the acquisition, Arinna’s founder, Vivek Seth, will retain a 15% stake and continue to lead the company as its Managing Director. Overall, this acquisition is viewed as a major stride for Rubicon Research toward expanding its presence in the Indian pharmaceutical market and establishing a strong foothold within the CNS segment.
