Air India’s big decision regarding Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner, the airline company will make these changes in the aircraft
Air India will replace the electronic devices and other important parts of its 26 old Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner aircraft with new devices and other parts to reduce problems related to operations. The Tata Group airline company shared this information on Sunday. Renovation of Air India’s Dreamliner begins
Air India’s Dreamliner aircraft was examined, which also included checking the fuel switch. Air India has started the renovation of the first ‘Legacy Dreamliner’, which was sent to a Boeing plant in Victorville, California in July 2025. Air India said in a statement on Sunday, “A second aircraft is scheduled to depart for the same plant in October 2025 and both are expected to return to service in December 2025.”
Air India flight crashed on June 12
This year, on June 12, an Air India flight from Ahmedabad to London crashed minutes after take-off. 241 out of 242 passengers and crew members were killed in this horrific accident. The plane collided with a building outside the airport, due to which many people present in the building also lost their lives in this accident. After that accident, Air India had accelerated the investigation of its aircraft and took even minor problems seriously. The company did not compromise with any problem of its aircraft, due to which it had to cancel many flights.
All international flight services will start from October 1
Air India had reduced its international flights on a large scale after the accident. However, the company is now going to start its international service once again. Air India had said on 6 August that it will resume all its international flight services from 1 October.
