Musk’s AI-powered Grokipedia crashes upon launch, now operational: Claims to rival Wikipedia, Musk says it’s truthful and bias-free

XAI, the company of the world’s richest businessman, Elon Musk, has launched an AI-powered encyclopedia. It’s called “Grokipedia,” a direct competitor to Wikipedia.

Grokipedia’s website crashed upon launch on October 27th, but it has now been fixed. Musk is calling it a “truthful and bias-free” alternative.

Claims to be a truth-seeking knowledge base

It looks similar to Wikipedia. Musk suspected Wikipedia of “ideological narratives” and propaganda, so he created this “truth-seeking knowledge base.” It’s powered by xAI’s Grok AI chatbot, which is trained on real-time data.

Grokipedia’s interface is simple—the homepage says “Grokipedia v0.1” and has a search bar. It’s currently in beta, but Musk says version 1.0 will be 10 times better.
