Vedanta Group Chairman Anil Agarwal presented a vision at the company’s 61st Annual General Meeting (AGM) that captured the attention of investors. He clearly stated that all five companies formed following Vedanta’s demerger possess the potential to become $100 billion entities in the future.

He told shareholders, “A year ago, you were shareholders of a single company. Today, you have the opportunity to invest in five distinct companies. There have been very few corporate transformations globally that have created such immense opportunities for shareholders.” “And we believe this is just the beginning.”

What is ‘Vedanta Unlimited’?

Anil Agarwal has named the company’s future vision ‘Vedanta Unlimited’. According to him, the entire strategy moving forward will be based on three ‘P’s:

Produce More; Partner Better; and Purpose Beyond Profit—meaning working not just for profit, but also for the nation and society. He stated that these three principles would define Vedanta’s direction in the coming years.

A Historic Financial Year (2025-26)

Anil Agarwal stated that the 2025-26 financial year was the most successful in the company’s history.

Recorded a record revenue of ₹1,74,075 crore.

Earned its highest-ever profit of ₹25,096 crore.

Achieved a record EBITDA of ₹55,976 crore.

Additionally, the company’s Net Debt/EBITDA ratio stood at 0.95x, marking its strongest performance in the last 14 quarters.

Major Expansion Across All Business Segments

Anil Agarwal stated that Vedanta would no longer be limited to its existing operations; instead, production would be rapidly ramped up across several sectors.

Zinc and Lead: A target has been set to increase production to approximately 3 million tonnes by 2031.

Silver: There is a plan to double silver production to reach 1,500 tonnes.

Copper: A target has been set to reach a copper production capacity of 1 million tonnes by the end of this decade. Ferrochrome: Capacity will be increased to 500,000 tonnes by the 2027-28 financial year. Nickel: There is a plan to increase nickel production to 60,000 tonnes.
