Vodafone Idea introduced cheaper monthly plan in competition with Jio, know its benefits
Vodafone Idea (Vi) has launched a new pre-paid plan to compete with Reliance Jio. The price of this plan of Vi is Rs 267 and it will get 25GB data. The validity of this new pre-paid plan of Vi is 30 days. Unlimited calling facility is also available in this plan of Vodafone Idea.
Vi’s Rs 267 plan directly competes with Jio’s Rs 247 plan, which offers 25GB data with a validity of 30 days. Apart from this new plan, Vi has also introduced a new plan of Rs 128, which is getting a validity of 28 days. This Rs 267 pre-paid plan of Vi has become available in all 23 circles. This plan can be recharged from Amazon Pay, Vi’s site, Paytm and other third party platforms.
Benefits of Vi’s 128-rupee plan
In this cheap pre-paid plan of Vi, data is not available, but you are getting calling facility in it. In this plan, 10 local Vi to Vi night minutes will be available. Night minutes will be valid from 11 pm to 6 am. Apart from this, local and STD calling can be done at the rate of 2.5 paise per minute for 28 days. Customers with this plan will be able to send local messages for Rs 1 and STD messages for Rs 1.5.
The Rs 128 plan is currently available only in circles like Mumbai, Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh East, Uttar Pradesh West, although it is expected that this plan will be released in other circles in the coming time.
Let us know that Airtel has also introduced a plan of Rs 128, with which validity of 28 days is being given. Under this plan also, local and STD calling can be done at the rate of 2.5 per second, although Airtel has not provided free calling facility in this plan.
