90% Indians want to buy electric vehicle, increasing demand due to subsidy

Rising prices of petrol and diesel are becoming a problem for the people. In such a situation, the electric vehicle has come to the fore. Along with this, their prices are coming down due to the FAME-2 subsidy of the central government and many state government subsidies.

90% of the people in India want to buy an electric vehicle. This has come to the fore in a survey by a consultancy firm. More than 9 thousand people from 13 countries were included in the survey, in which 1 thousand people from India took part. 99% of Indians i.e. 990 out of 1 thousand people expressed their desire to buy electric vehicle.

According to the survey, ready to pay a premium of up to 20%

The sales of electric vehicles are expected to increase globally by next year. The survey also revealed that 40% of people are ready to pay a premium of up to 20% for an electric vehicle. At the same time, 3 out of 10 in India want to buy an electric car.

Expect a good average from an electric car

According to the survey, most of the people in India say that they want to buy such an electric vehicle that will run for 100 to 200 miles i.e. about 160 kilometers to 320 kilometers on a full charge.

People are also aware of the environment

The survey also revealed that the biggest reason for buying an EV is awareness among people about the environment. 67% of the people who expressed their desire to buy an EV feel that they should understand their responsibility so that the pollution caused by petrol-diesel vehicles can be stopped.
