World’s leading companies will keep their data in UP, 3 data center parks will be built in the state

Many big companies of the world will keep their data safe in Uttar Pradesh. Yogi government is going to make UP the biggest data storage center of North India. The government plans to build 03 data center parks in the state. This will provide employment opportunities to a large number of youth.

Dependence on other countries will decrease

Till now, due to lack of adequate system to store data in the country, more dependence was on foreign countries to secure most of the data. In view of this, the Yogi government has taken steps to make the state self-reliant in the field of data center. The government plans to build 03 data center parks in the state. After becoming a data center park, you will be able to keep your data safe in the country. The Yogi government has also made a separate policy for the data center.

These companies will invest

The government aims to invest Rs 20,000 crore in the data center sector in the next five years and set up three data center parks. 16,000 crore investment has been achieved in the first year itself against the target. So far 13 investors have shown interest for investment of Rs 25,848 crore. A total of more than Rs 16,000 crore has been received from five investors (Hiranandani Group, two proposals from Adani Group, NTT Japan and Web Works). This is likely to create a large number of jobs.
