Google Maps will now be used in railway exams, this is the government’s plan.

The government will now use Google Maps in the railway exam. You must be feeling a bit strange in hearing but the government is going to do this work for your benefit. This will be the first time that Google Maps will be used to determine the venue of the railway exam. In fact, the government has taken this decision to eliminate the trouble due to the examination center being away from the candidates’ home. Let’s understand in detail….

The center will be within 300 km

According to the planning of the government, the railway examinations will now be held within a radius of 300 km and for this Google Maps will be used. The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) will now decide the center according to the address of the student’s home and in any case the examination center will be kept within a radius of 300 km from the student’s residence.

Commenting on the decision, a senior railway official said, “We are linking the pin code of each candidate to the examination center within 300 km of their residence through Google Maps. At the same time we are ensuring that the centers have easy access to various modes of transport like buses and trains.

Under the new rule, the examination of 30 July 2022 will be held

The level 6 and level 4 computer test to be held on July 30 will start under the new decision. In this, around 60,000 candidates will appear for the exam for 7,026 posts at around 90 centres. 99 percent of the candidates who appeared in this examination have been given a center within 300 km, while 100% female candidates have got a center within 400 km. Let us inform that the students had complained about the distant center of the recently concluded railway examination.
