Nita Ambani: India’s first multi-art cultural center to be opened in Mumbai in the name of Nita Ambani, Isha announced.

Isha Ambani on Thursday announced the opening of an international class multi-art cultural center at Mumbai’s Bandra Kurla Complex. Its name will be Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Center (NMACC). This center is dedicated to his mother Nita Mukesh Ambani. Nita Ambani has been playing the role of a mentor in the field of arts for a long time. This cultural center will be the first of its kind in the field of arts.

The doors of NMACC will be opened for the visitors on 31st March 2023. The launch will mark a three-day event, in which many eminent artists from national and international level will showcase their art.

The ‘Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Center’ (NMACC) will be built at the Jio World Center in Mumbai, the city of dreams. It will have performances and visual arts performances in a three-storey building. The Grand Theatre, The Studio Theater and The Cube Shale will be built for the performing arts. Advance technology will be used in all these. Two thousand spectators will be able to enjoy the program together in ‘The Grand Theatre’. A four-storey art house spread over 16,000 sq ft will also be launched for the exhibition of Indian and international artists.

Speaking at the announcement, Isha said, “The Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Center is not just a place – it is the culmination of my mother’s passion for art, culture and India. She has always dreamed of creating a platform where audiences, artists, May more creative people come together. Their vision for NMACC is to showcase India’s strengths to the world and bring the world closer to India.”

The three-day launch event included Indian playwright and director Firoz Abbas Khan, writer and costume expert Hamish Bowles (Editor-in-Chief, The World of Interiors, International Editor-at-Large, Vogue US), India’s leading cultural theorist Ranjit Hoskote and Jeffrey Deitch (American Curator, former Director of the Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA), Los Angeles) will bring his artistic performances and ideas to the audience.
