Google Play Points program launched in India, points will be available on subscribing to service from in-app items.
Google has launched ‘Google Play Points’ rewards program in India. Under this initiative, users will get points for subscribing to games, apps and services from the Google Play Marketplace. The program is divided into Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum levels, where users will be awarded different rewards at each level. According to Google’s official blog post, Google wants to connect as many users as possible through the Play Point program. Under this initiative, users will get points for purchasing games, apps, in-app items and services in the Play Store. Along with this, users will be divided into Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum levels. There they will be given prizes and offers based on their level.
Tie-up done with these mobile apps
The company has tied up with over 30 app developers for its program in India. These include apps like 8 Ball Pool, The King’s return, Ludo King, and Ludo Star, Truecaller and Wysa. Apart from this, the company is in discussions with many other app and game developers.
Program will start this week
The company says that the Google Play Points program will start in India from next week. Users can join the program at no monthly fee. For this, they have to go to Google Play Store and tap on their profile. After this the service will be activated on the account of the users.

Recall that Google recently launched Google Pixel 7 in the premium segment. This smartphone has a 6.3-inch HD + OLED screen, which has a refresh rate of 90Hz.
