Flipkart launches Metaverse shopping portal Flipverse, shopping will be done sitting at home in the virtual world.

Flipkart has launched a virtual shopping experience located in the Metaverse for its customers. Its name is Flipverse. The company has built it in partnership with the Polygon-incubated organization eDAO. It designs and launches global arts, media and entertainment IPs for Web3.

As part of this partnership, Flipkart launched a metaverse space called Flipverse, where customers will be able to discover and shop products in a photorealistic virtual destination. It will be available on the company’s recently launched platform FireDrops, which customers will be able to access through the app of the e-commerce platform. Let us know about it in detail.

Flipkart Launches Metaverse Shopping Experience – Flipverse

Flipverse is launching on Flipkart’s Android app. It says the Metaverse Shopping Experience will offer consumers an interactive and immersive shopping experience by giving them access to the digital world. Here customers will be able to access their favorite brands as well as SuperCoin and Digital Collectibles.

In the light of adopting By giving customers access to their favorite brands, offers, SuperCoins and digital collectibles, we aim to enhance their shopping experiences in a virtual and immersive setting.”

In Flipverse, multiple brands will be able to launch products in a unique way while simultaneously providing a new kind of discovery and shopping experience to the customers. Here brands will be able to create digital twins of their products and put them on display in virtual theatres. In the first phase of Flipverse, customers will get everything from clothing to wearable electronics, cosmetic and home appliances.

Flipkart said that many other brands like Puma, Noise, Nivea, Lavie, Tokyo Talkies, Campus, VIP, Ajmal Perfumes, Himalaya and Butterfly India are participating in the first edition of Flipverse. The first phase of Flipverse will be available only on the Android app and will be live for a week.
