Budget 2023: Now bumper jobs will come in the country, this is the mega plan of the government to increase employment.

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has presented Budget 2023 in Parliament today. The Finance Minister has made many big announcements in the budget. Finance Minister Sitharaman has also made several announcements to increase employment opportunities in the country. In the budget speech, the Finance Minister has announced the launch of the fourth phase of Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY), which will give a boost to skill development in the country. Sitharaman said that within the next three years, PMKVY 4.0 will be launched to skill lakhs of youth.


Emphasis will be on skill development


The Finance Minister said that Industry 4.0, Kovid, AI, Robotics, Mechatronics, IOT and Drones will be covered in this. Sitharaman also said that for opportunities at the international level, a total of 30 Skill India International Centers will be started in different states.


Apart from this, the central government will appoint 38,800 teachers and staff for Eklavya Model Residential Schools. For the third consecutive year in Budget 2023, the allocation of capital investment has been increased by 33 per cent to Rs 10 lakh crore, which will be 3.3 per cent of GDP. This will be almost three times the outlay in 2019-20. The Finance Minister said that the major increase in this in recent years is aimed at promoting growth and creating job opportunities. He told that this will also bring private investment and will also be a defense against global blockages.


Important announcements made in the budget


In Budget 2023, the number of tax slabs has been reduced from 6 to 5. At the same time, the tax exemption limit has been increased to three lakh rupees. It has been announced in the budget that the maximum deposit limit in the Senior Citizen Savings Account Scheme will be increased from Rs 15 lakh to Rs 30 lakh. Sitharaman said in her speech that the seven priorities of the budget are Saptarishi. These include inclusive growth, last-mile access, infrastructure and investment, expansion of inherent potential, green growth, youth power and the financial sector.


The Finance Minister said that along with the existing 157 medical colleges established from the year 2014, 157 new nursing colleges will be opened in the institutes. The Center will appoint 38,800 teachers and support staff in 740 Eklavya Model Residential Schools for 3.5 lakh tribal students in the next three years.
