Taking forward its Make in India campaign in the Indian market, Xiaomi has partnered with electronics manufacturer optiemus. Under this partnership, all of Xiaomi’s wireless audio products will be produced in India.
The Optiemus factory is located in Noida, Uttar Pradesh. According to the company’s statement, by 2025, Xiaomi will also manufacture 50 percent of the parts in India. This statement of Xiaomi has come to the fore when recently Samsung has achieved the number-1 position in the Indian smartphone market leaving behind Redmi.
By the way, Xiaomi India manufactures most of its smartphones and TVs. As an audio product, Xiaomi sells speakers, earbuds, earphones etc. in India.
