Isha Ambani’s big preparations for Campa Cola, said – will start with Asia and Africa.

New Delhi: Isha Ambani presented her vision at the Reliance AGM today. Isha Ambani, who is heading Reliance Retail, has made big preparations for Campa Cola. He said that work would be done to take Campa Cola to the global market. It will start from Asia and Africa. Only last year, Reliance had acquired Campa Cola. Since acquiring Campa Cola, Reliance Retail has been ramping up its production and plans to introduce it in global markets including Asia and Africa. Reliance Retail has relaunched the Campa Cola brand last year after acquiring it from Pure Drinks Group for Rs 22 crore. The soft drink product is now making its presence felt in select markets where it competes with global players like Coca-Cola and PepsiCo.

Isha Ambani, Director, Reliance Retail said, “We have introduced Campa Cola with an Indian flavor and it has been accepted wholeheartedly by customers. We are increasing its production in the Indian market and are working on taking it to the global market as well. It will start with Asia and Africa. Reliance Consumer Products, the FMCG arm of Reliance Retail, entered into a strategic partnership with Sri Lanka-based Ceylon Beverages International earlier this year for the production and packaging of Campa Cola.

Campa Cola was a popular soft drink brand in the country before foreign companies like Coca-Cola and PepsiCo entered the Indian market. But with increasing competition in the nineties, it lost its sheen.
