Adani will make cement in Bihar, will increase investment in the state by 10 times, know the complete planning

Patna: At present, Adani Group is ruling the cement manufacturing sector in the country. Now this Adani Group will make cement in Bihar also. The company plans to set up cement plants in Warsaliganj and Mahawal in Bihar. This was announced by Pranab Adani, nephew of Gautam Adani and director of Adani Enterprises. Pranab had reached Patna to participate in the Bihar Global Investors’ Summit.

What did Pranab Adani say?

In Bihar, Pranab Adani said that if we talk about Bihar, Adani Group is present in logistics, gas distribution and agri-logistics sector. An investment of about Rs 850 crore has been made in this and about 3 thousand employment opportunities can be created. Not only this, there are preparations to increase the investment 10 times to Rs 8,700 crore. Apart from this, there will be investment in three additional areas and this will create 10 thousand direct and indirect employment opportunities.

Investment will increase in many districts

He said Adani Group will invest Rs 1,200 crore in Bihar to expand warehouses from 1 lakh square feet to more than 65 lakh square feet. Two big warehouses will be in Patna and this will provide employment opportunities to 2000 people. Apart from this, an investment of Rs 900 crore has been made in Agri-Logistics to increase its storage capacity from 1 lakh 50 thousand metric tons to 2 lakh 75 thousand metric tons in 6 places Purnia, Begusarai, Darbhanga, Samastipur, Kishanganj and Araria. This will also provide employment to 2,000 people. An investment of Rs 200 crore will be made to expand its existing city gas distribution network in Gaya and Nalanda. Adani will also build a new compressed biogas plant and EV charging center and through which 1500 people will get employment.

Adani Wilmar’s production plant will be set up

Pranab Adani said that the group’s FMCG company Adani Wilmar is also being brought to Bihar. In the initial phase, this company will set up flour mill plant, RFM plant, solvent extraction plant, co-gen power plant in the state. Along with this, an investment of Rs 800 crore will be made to build paddy processing plants in Sasaram and Rohtas. These plants will provide employment to 200 people.

He announced that Adani Group will also enter cement manufacturing in Bihar. For this, there will be an investment of Rs 2,500 crore in Warsaliganj and Mahawal. The company’s target will be to produce 10 million tonnes in a year. This investment is expected to create approximately 3,000 jobs.

Adani also in the field of smart meter

He says that now Bihar is moving from traditional electricity meters to smart meters. Smart meter manufacturing is the third area in which Adani is investing. More than 28 lakh smart meters will be installed in Siwan, Saran, Gopalganj, Vaishali and Samastipur to automate the monitoring of electricity consumption. There will be an investment of Rs 3,100 crore for this and it will help in providing employment to about 2,000 people.
