Income may increase

The IMF report states that only half of the jobs expected to be affected by AI will be negatively affected. Others may actually benefit from increased productivity due to AI. Georgieva said, ‘Your job may or may not be completely eliminated or AI may further enhance your job. You will actually be more productive and your income level may increase.
