Adani’s company gets approval, 26 EV charging stations will be built on four expressways of UP.

A big decision has been taken to promote the adoption of EV (Electric Vehicles) in Uttar Pradesh. Uttar Pradesh Expressway Industrial Development Authority (UPEIDA) has given permission to Adani Total Energies E-Mobility Limited to develop charging infrastructure on four expressways of the state.

26 charging stations will be installed

The Board of Directors of Expressway Industrial Development Authority has approved the proposal of joint venture of Adani Group and Total Energy to set up 26 charging stations along the motorway. According to a report in Economic Times, the aim of this joint venture is to meet the growing demand for convenient and accessible stations for electric vehicles. So that the changes taking place in sustainable transportation of the state can be supported.

EV infrastructure network will improve

Under this project, 26 charging stations will be installed along important expressways like Gorakhpur Link, Bundelkhand, Purvanchal and Agra-Lucknow Motorway. Making these charging stations in strategic locations will improve the entire EV infrastructure network in the state. Also, electric vehicle users will not face any difficulty in reaching the charging facility.

There will be no financial load

The price of charging services provided by Adani Total Energy E-Mobility Limited is expected to be reasonable. In this the per-kilowatt fee will be Rs 9.74. By doing this there will not be much financial burden on electric vehicle users. This will promote the use of electric vehicles.

Reports say that Adani Total Energy E-Mobility Limited has been selected for this project among six big competitors. Big companies like Tata Power EV Charging Solutions Limited, Tesco Charger Zone Limited, Casherdrive Marketing Limited, WordMobility India, Servotech Power had come together to achieve this project.

A senior UPEIDA official told Times of India that Adani Total Energy E-Mobility Limited had the lowest service fee among the shortlisted companies. Therefore, he was given this project so that the financial pressure on electric vehicle users can be reduced. Apart from this, it has also been kept in mind that the company provides high-quality service at a reasonable price.
