Reliance Retail’s Dominance Strengthens with Nearly 20,000 Stores

Reliance Industries’ retail business further expanded its reach and strengthened its position in the third quarter (Q3) of FY2025-26. With the addition of 431 new stores during the quarter, the total number of Reliance Retail stores reached 19,979, bringing it very close to the 20,000 mark.

JioMart Gains Momentum

JioMart also gained momentum this quarter. Daily orders surpassed the 1.6 million mark. Average daily orders saw a sharp increase of 53 percent quarter-on-quarter and over 360 percent year-on-year, making JioMart one of the fastest-growing platforms in hyper-local commerce.

Reliance Retail’s Customer Base Grows

In this quarter, Reliance Retail’s business recorded over 500 million transactions, representing a strong 47.6 percent year-on-year growth. The company’s registered customer base also grew to 370.8 million. Reliance Retail’s revenue in the third quarter was ₹97,605 crore, an 8.1 percent increase year-on-year. EBITDA was recorded at ₹6,915 crore, while the EBITDA margin stood at 8.0 percent.

The demerger of the consumer products business was also implemented during the quarter, giving the business a separate identity and a focused organizational structure.
