Meta highlights the agent’s robust safety and privacy features. It operates on a secure virtual machine, ensuring the safety of both the agent’s and the user’s data.

Users can interact with Muse via a dedicated app or through WhatsApp. It can handle routine tasks like sending emails and booking travel.

Additionally, it can assist with long-term objectives, such as creating a year-long exercise plan or launching a new business.

Muse: Part of Mark Zuckerberg’s AI Vision

Muse is part of CEO Mark Zuckerberg’s vision to bring AI superintelligence to everyone. He outlined this vision in a 6,500-word essay published online last month.

However, critics have described the document as being largely based on speculation. According to Zuckerberg, Meta is moving toward an era where individuals will have AI tools to help them start new businesses, pursue Ph.D.-level studies, and receive personalized lifestyle advice.

Zuckerberg wrote that in the future, everyone will have a personal AI agent that understands them, their goals, and their needs. This agent will be able to work around the clock to assist with matters such as relationships, health, career, finances, household chores, and hobbies.

He believes that such an agent will save people time by handling various essential tasks. This will enable people to devote more time to the activities they enjoy and achieve things that would be difficult for them to accomplish on their own.
