Prestige Estates: Company to launch homes worth ₹40,000 crore; properties to be available in 5 cities, including Delhi-NCR
Real estate developer Prestige Estates Projects is set to launch homes worth approximately ₹40,000 crore in the second half of the 2026-27 financial year. The company plans to bring to market about two-and-a-half times more property compared to the launches made between April and September. This move is seen as a strategy to capitalize on the increased demand from homebuyers during the festive season.
According to the company, it launched residential projects spanning 23.14 million square feet during the first half of the 2026-27 financial year (April to September). The potential sales value of these projects exceeds ₹16,200 crore.
In which cities will the new homes be launched?
According to the company’s Chairman, Irfan Razack, there are plans to launch new projects in Bengaluru, Mumbai, Delhi-NCR, Chennai, and Hyderabad over the next two quarters. The company expects these launches to sustain the momentum in sales.
Prestige Estates recorded record sales bookings of ₹30,024 crore in the 2025-26 financial year—a 76% increase over the previous financial year. For the 2026-27 financial year, the company has set a target of ₹35,000 to ₹36,000 crore in sales bookings.
How were the sales in the first half?
The company recorded pre-sales (sales bookings) of ₹13,804.3 crore during the first half of the financial year. Irfan Razack noted that the new projects are receiving a positive response from customers. Even though some projects were launched toward the end of the second quarter, they still saw strong sales. Sales remain strong in the company’s existing projects as well. This leads the company to believe that the demand for homes continues to be good.
