You can now order food from restaurants up to 40 km away via Zomato; new service launched in 7 cities

Zomato has launched a new service for its customers called ‘Limitless Delivery.’ This feature allows users to order food from restaurants located as far as 40 kilometers away within their city. Previously, Zomato typically displayed only those restaurants situated near the user’s delivery address; however, with this new service, customers can now order from their favorite restaurants located in other parts of the city. For now, the company has rolled out this facility in Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Kolkata, Pune, and Hyderabad. Let’s take a look at how you can use this new Zomato service.

‘Limitless Delivery’ is a new Zomato feature that enables customers to order food from restaurants up to 40 kilometers away within their city. Previously, the availability of restaurants on Zomato was largely dependent on their distance from the customer’s delivery address, which often made it impossible to order from popular restaurants located in other parts of the city.

With this feature, users now have the option to explore a wider range of restaurants across their city. For instance, a customer living in Gurugram can order food from a restaurant located in another part of the Delhi-NCR region. However, even if a restaurant is within a 40-kilometer radius, its availability will still depend on whether it is listed on Zomato and whether it delivers to the customer’s specific address.

Zomato has provided a dedicated ‘Quick Link’ for this service within the ‘Explore More’ section on the app’s home screen. By tapping on it, users can view a list of popular restaurants from which they can order using this new service. Additionally, customers can also place orders by searching for the name of their preferred restaurant directly within the Zomato app. If a restaurant is available for their delivery address, users will be able to place an order in the usual way.

Zomato has currently launched ‘Limitless Delivery’ in seven Indian cities: Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Kolkata, Pune, and Hyderabad. Users in these cities can now see the option to order food from restaurants located up to 40 kilometers away. However, Zomato has not yet clarified whether an additional delivery charge will apply to orders from restaurants at such a distance. Furthermore, the company has not provided any specific details regarding delivery times for these long-distance orders.
