Virgin Atlantic partners with TCS

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has announced that it has expanded its partnership with Virgin Atlantic. Virgin Atlantic is one of the leading airlines in the UK. TCS has entered into this partnership to help the company in its new phase of recovery and growth.

The partnership builds on a 17-year-old relationship between the two companies and TCS will now take the lead in Virgin Operations Management and Digital Transformation. The expansion of the partnership will help harness the competencies of TCS and Virgin Atlantic’s integrated team of personnel to transform technology operations. This will move 70 people from Virgin Atlantic’s technology team to TCS, which will significantly diversify within a consolidated team.”As we emerge from a very challenging period, our strong base and confidence in our partnership with TCS remains an integral part of our strategy for the upcoming launch,” said Ash Jokhoo, Virgin Atlantic’s Chief Information and Data Officer. TCS will strengthen Virgin Atlantic by leveraging Microsoft Azure’s prowess through technology and business transformation activities. In addition, TCS will offer a digital solution with Cloud First to help Virgin improve technology and performance.
