ChatGPT is used by Apple’s CEO: Tim Cook said – Bias and miss information can create challenges, it needs to be regulated.

Apple CEO Tim Cook said that he uses OpenAI’s AI chatbot ChatGPT. In an interview to Good Morning America, Cook expressed his enthusiasm about Artificial Intelligence (AI) and also talked about the concerns related to it. He said that the company is closely watching AI chatbots like ChatGPT.


When Cook was asked whether he uses ChatGPT? So he said that of course I use ChatGPT and am also excited for it. Although he insisted on regulating AI, he said that AI tools like ChatGPT and Google Bard are making big promises, but bias and miss information, the capacity to give wrong information can pose challenges. That’s why there is a need to bring guidelines and regulate it.


Apple employees cannot use ChatGPT


According to a report published in the Wall Street General, Apple, like South Korean tech company Samsung, has banned the use of AI tools like ChatGPT by its employees. Apple is concerned that confidential information may be leaked if employees use AI tools.


Growth of companies will accelerate


Tim Cook said that this type of new technology will accelerate the growth of companies, but along with it many challenges will also arise. Therefore, it is the responsibility of the companies to take the right steps. In the coming time, companies will have to decide by themselves that where and how much AI tools to implement in the company.


Government intervention is necessary on AI


Last month, during the ongoing hearing in the US Senate on the dangers of ChatGPT and other AI-based platforms, Sam Altman, CEO of OpenAI, also insisted on regulation of AI. He had said, “We feel that regulatory intervention by governments is necessary to mitigate the dangers of this rapidly emerging model.”


Along with this, he had said that I am nervous about the kind of impact AI can have on democracy. I am concerned that half-baked information can be sent to the target audience by using AI at the time of elections.
