India-Japan: ‘Improve business climate for Japanese companies in India’; Former PM Suga advocated.
Former Prime Minister of Japan Yoshihide Suga has given a big statement before the meeting with PM Narendra Modi. He said that during the meeting with PM Modi, he would emphasize on improving the business environment in India for the companies of his country. Please inform that today he had a program to meet PM Modi.
Yoshihide said at an event organized by FICCI in the capital that he will tell PM Modi about the request received from business leaders. They are coming with us this time. Urging to improve the environment for Japanese companies to do business in India.
Addressing another event organized by industry body CII, the former Japanese prime minister said he would encourage the Japanese private sector to invest in India. During this, Suga also emphasized on further strengthening the business relations between India and Japan. He said Japan recognizes the importance of strengthening ties with India in the public and private sectors and we want to further enhance them.
Former PM Suga also said that last year the Japanese government had set a target of 5 trillion yen of public and private sector investment and loans in India over the next five years to deepen economic ties.
