Modi Cabinet Meeting: Modi Cabinet took a big decision regarding thermal power, two plants got approval

Modi government cabinet has taken a big decision related to thermal power. In this decision, the government has given approval for two plants. The Cabinet approved the 660 MW thermal power plant of South Eastern Coalfield Limited Company. Modi cabinet has approved the thermal power plant joint venture. The cabinet has approved the subsidiary of Coal India.

The cabinet has also given approval for joint venture. It has been told in the cabinet decision that Coal India’s subsidiary will set up two power plants of 800 MW each.

A 660 MW thermal power plant will be set up in the joint venture. Coal India’s subsidiary SECL (South Eastern Coalfields) will enter into an agreement with Madhya Pradesh Power Generation Company for this plant.

Coal India will set up two power plants through its two subsidiary companies. The Cabinet gave green signal to two thermal power plants of Mahanadi Coal Field. Both these plants will have a capacity of 800 MW. Both these plants will be set up in Sundergarh district of Orissa.
