Tata Semiconductor Plant: Tata will set up a semiconductor plant with a Taiwanese company, government approved

The country’s largest business group Tata will set up a semiconductor packaging plant with Taiwanese company PSMC. The Central Government has approved it. It was approved in the meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This plant will be set up in Assam. Tata Group applied for a semiconductor processing plant in Assam with an investment of Rs 25,000 crore in the beginning of February. After this news, the shares of Tata Group company TATA ELXSI have increased. The stock increased by more than one percent.

Semiconductor plant got approval-

Union Minister of State for Electronics and Information Technology, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship and Jal Shakti, Rajiv Chandrashekhar had given information regarding this at the beginning of the month.

A semiconductor plant worth about Rs 25,000 crore will soon be set up in Assam. A semiconductor packaging plant will be set up in partnership with the Assam government and Tata Group.

We will soon get all the approvals and submit it to the cabinet for final approval. Young Indians wanting to enter the world of semiconductors will no longer need to leave their state or move to another city.
