Lloyd: Havells brought a range of designer products of Lloyd, said- keeping an eye on the global market along with the domestic market.

Havells Company is working on a plan to increase the export capacity of its products under the Lloyd brand. The company gave this information on Tuesday while introducing a new range of AC, refrigerator, washing machine and television. Speaking to the media, Havells India Executive Director Yogesh Kumar Gupta said that the company has so far invested around Rs 400 crore in the first phase of its new manufacturing unit in Sri City, Andhra Pradesh, after which it will have a capacity of 20 lakh units. Has exceeded.

He said, “We have big plans for international markets. We have set up our second plant in Sri City, which is very close to Chennai port. We are already exporting to the Middle East, SAARC countries and African countries. We have also started exporting to America.”

Opening of new plant will help in increasing presence in the global market.

He said, “Earlier we had only one plant and that plant had the capacity to manufacture 10 lakh ACs annually, so we were focusing more on the domestic market. Now with the opening of additional plants, we will be able to reach the domestic as well as international markets. This will also help in increasing our penetration in India.”

Company brings new range of designer products

Havells introduced a new range of AC models in its portfolio under the Lloyd brand. Lloyd has brought designer Stellar and Stylus air conditioner range for the first time in the market. The company has also introduced a refrigerator equipped with Rapid Cool Technology. The company claims that it can turn water into ice in just 29 minutes. Whereas in refrigerators of other brands it takes at least an hour to make ice. Apart from this, Lloyd Novante has also brought fully automatic washing machines.
