Swiggy has increased its fees again, now you’ll have to pay this much more every time you order food.

Swiggy has increased its platform fee to ₹17.58 per order, up from ₹14.99 previously. This is an increase of approximately 17 percent. This decision follows Zomato, whose effective platform fee has also increased to ₹17.58 (including GST). Swiggy’s ₹17.58 fee includes GST. Zomato charges a base fee of ₹14.99, to which ₹2.68 GST is added, making the total ₹17.58.

Fourth Increase in 7 Months

This is the fourth time in the last 7 months that Swiggy has increased its platform fee. Both companies have been rapidly revising customer fees and have now reached the same effective price despite different service structures. In September 2025, Zomato increased its fees to ₹12, while Swiggy increased it to ₹14 during the festive season. Subsequently, Zomato increased its base fee from ₹12.5 to ₹14.9, a nearly 19 percent increase. Swiggy has now increased its platform fee from ₹14.99 to ₹17.58.
