Blinkit to Deliver at Airports: Service Launched for Over 2,500 Products
The online delivery platform Blinkit has achieved a new milestone. Blinkit will now deliver goods to users right at the airport! Yes, you read that right. If you have arrived at the airport to catch a flight and realize you forgot to bring essential items, there is no need to worry anymore. You can now receive your items within just a few minutes by placing an online order. The service covers a wide range of essential items, including baby care products, personal care and body care essentials, books, novels, chargers, and more. This facility has been launched at Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport.
Blinkit has made shopping possible even within the airport premises. The company has introduced a new service dedicated to delivering essential goods directly at the airport. To facilitate this, Blinkit has partnered with Adani Airport Holdings Limited (AAHL). The in-terminal quick commerce delivery service has officially commenced operations at Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSMIA). This facility is currently available at Terminal 2 of the airport. Passengers can use the Blinkit app to order essential items, with delivery available directly inside the airport at boarding gates, lounges, food courts, and select partner outlets. Blinkit co-founder Albinder Dhindsa shared these details.
Under this new Blinkit delivery service, customers can order from a selection of over 2,500 products. This includes essential items such as phone or laptop chargers, books, gift items, snacks, and baby care products. A dedicated team of Blinkit “walkers” will handle the logistics, delivering products directly to customers within the terminal. In other words, if you suddenly remember you need an item during the final moments before your flight, there is no longer any need to panic.
How to Use the Service
According to the company’s CEO, this is the first airport in the world to introduce such a service. Implementing this delivery model within a high-security zone is being hailed as a truly unique and pioneering step. This initiative provides the company with a valuable opportunity to further enhance the customer experience. To use the new service, you will need to update your Blinkit app to the latest version.
