What does the ‘Voluntary Exit Offer’ entail?
Those who do not accept the offer will continue in their current roles, or the company may reassign them to a different project or team.
If the company fails to meet its cost-reduction targets through this voluntary offer, it may resort to involuntary layoffs in the future. In such a scenario, the financial package provided to employees upon termination would not be as favorable as the one offered under the voluntary exit scheme.
