HARMAN International, a subsidiary of Samsung Electronics, has acquired Sound United, the former consumer audio division of Masimo Corporation, for $350 million. This move strengthens Harman’s position in the premium audio market, with its portfolio now including popular brands such as Bowers & Wilkins, Denon, Marantz, Definitive Technology, Polk Audio, HEOS, Classé, and Boston Acoustics.

This acquisition will help Harman expand its product offerings across key categories, including home audio systems, headphones, amplifiers, AV receivers, and car audio solutions. By integrating Sound United’s popular brands, Harman aims to provide consumers worldwide with a superior audio experience.
