Akasa Air: Akasa Air’s capital position strong, CEO Vinay Dubey said – will fly international soon.

Akasa Air Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Vinay Dubey is confident about the future of the airline. He has said that the airline is ‘well capitalised’ and has enough capital available to place orders for three digits (at least 100) aircraft by the end of this year.

Vinay Dubey said the airline has the potential to grow much faster. Akasa Air is going to complete one year of its operations next month. To this, Dubey said, “We have achieved as per our expectations.” At present, the airline has 19 aircraft and the 20th aircraft may join its fleet this month. The company is all set to start international operations soon.

Dubey, in an interview with the news agency, said the airline is “well capitalised”. The founder and CEO of Akasa Air said, “I think we have enough funding. We have enough capital to place an order for 72 aircraft and four additional aircraft … plus enough capital to place orders for three digits by the end of this year.

However, he did not give any detailed information about this. Explain that the airline has ordered 76 Boeing aircraft. Talking about the airline, Dubey said, “I don’t think we are preoccupied with whether we will grow a little faster or a little slower.” We want stability. We want to build an airline that will stand the test of time.”

According to official figures, Akasaka Air had a domestic market share of 4.8 percent in May. He said the next 20 years are going to be the “golden age for aviation” and the country will have around 2,000 aircraft and more airports in the next 15 to 20 years. Dubey said, “We are very, very happy at the level we are at. I think there is a lot of growth.” The airline can start international operations when it has 20 aircraft in its fleet.
