Google Gemini Spark Launches in India: A Personal AI Agent That Works for You Even While You Sleep!
Google has announced the rollout of Gemini Spark in India. This new AI agent tool from the company can perform various actions on your behalf. For instance, when you are offline, it can handle tasks such as replying to emails, summarizing notes, and placing orders. Google first announced this feature at its annual developer conference, I/O.
Gemini Spark is a personal AI agent powered by Gemini 3.5. According to a Google blog post, it functions as a general-purpose AI agent within the Gemini app and can reason based on information from connected apps. Google stated that the new agent will help manage users’ digital lives, performing tasks strictly according to the instructions provided.
Paid Google AI users will be able to utilize this feature. It is designed to be user-friendly, allowing you to grant permissions only to the specific apps you choose. It will soon be made available to Google AI Pro and Google AI Ultra subscribers. Once available, it will enable users to perform actions across various Google Workspace tools, including Gmail, Docs, and Sheets.
Integrating Gemini Spark into Google Workspace requires no separate setup process. As a personal AI agent, it is capable of independently executing tasks assigned by the user—effectively working on their behalf. The new AI agent runs continuously in the background, even while you sleep. However, users retain the option to toggle it off and have the freedom to decide which apps the AI agent should interact with.
