New Delhi: Samsung (Samsung) has a plan to appoint 1000 engineers from Indian colleges. This relief news has come at a time when the news of retrenchment of employees by many companies of the world is coming. The company is going to hire employees for its Research and Development (R&D) institutes across the country. The company will hire these engineers for Samsung R&D Institute Bangalore, Samsung R&D Institute Delhi and Samsung Semiconductor India Research in Bangalore.

Samsung has told that these engineers will join the company in 2023 and will work in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Image Processing, Internet of Things, Connectivity, Cloud, Big Data, Business Intelligence, Predictive Analysis, Communication Networks, System on a Chip ( Will work on new generation technology like Systems on a Chip) and storage solution.

The statement issued by Samsung said, “Samsung will recruit engineers from streams such as Computer Science and related branches, Information Technology, Electronics, Instrumentation, Embedded Systems and Communication Networks.”

Sameer Wadhawan, Head – Human Resources, Samsung India, said, “Samsung’s R&D centers plan to hire fresh talent from India’s top engineering institutes that will bring new innovations, technologies, products and designs as well as focus on India. Will work on focused innovation that will improve people’s lives.

Samsung said that in this hiring season, its R&D centers will hire 200 engineers from engineering colleges including IIT Madras, IIT Delhi, IIT Hyderabad, IIT Bombay, IIT Roorkee, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Kanpur, IIT Guwahati and IIT BHU.

Samsung claims that its research centers in India have filed more than 7,500 patents in areas related to multi-camera solutions, television, digital applications, 5G, 6G and ultra-wideband wireless communication protocols. These patents have been used commercially in Samsung’s flagship smartphones, smartwatches, network equipment and digital applications, among others.
