The company said that it plans to increase the prices in April 2022 and it will vary by model.

Maruti has already increased the prices of vehicles by about 8.8% from January 2021 to March 2022 due to the continuous increase in input cost. The company sells many models in the domestic market from Alto to S-Cross.

The company’s target is to sell around 2.3 lakh CNG units.

According to a senior company official, Maruti Suzuki is targeting to sell 4-6 lakh CNG units in the current financial year depending on the supply position of essential components. The company had sold around 2.3 lakh CNG units in 2021-22. Maruti currently sells the CNG version of 9 out of its 15 models. It is planning to bring more models with such technology in the coming days.
